How it Works:
- Submit the form below with your project idea and plans for fundraising.
- We will review your proposal and get back to you with approval to move forward or with any questions we might have.
- You raise funds for the project and submit them to the Foundation.
- Rustic Pathways staff around the world put your project into action.
Projects can be large or small! Students have:
- Purchased goats for families in Tanzania;
- Raised funds to bring electricity to two villages in Peru by reaching out to friends and family and selling cool Peruvian souvenirs;
- Purchased computers for refugee children in rural Thailand;
- Supported children at the Hill Tribe Orphanage through creative fundraisers like selling bracelets;
- Sold photographs from their time in Tanzania to help raise funds for a new school roof;
- And much more!
How does the Foundation decide to approve a project?
- Projects must be supported by the community. We’ll check with our local staff and community leaders to make sure the project is one that everyone in the community is excited about.
- Projects must have a real need. Who wants to build a school in a village that already has one, right? We will make sure that there is a real need for the project and it will have a positive impact before moving forward.
- Projects must be financially feasible. This means there needs to be a good plan to make sure the necessary funds will be raised, whether alone or by joining forces with others. We also want to make sure that if a project will need long-term funding there is a plan in place to make sure that happens.
- Rustic Pathways staff have to be sure they can make the project a reality. We are all ready and willing to do whatever we can to bring further support to the communities that are part the incredible global Rustic Pathways family, but we need to be sure we will really be able to make your project happen.
